Our 2012 / 2012 Soccer Season is quickly approaching, the DPSC soccer club would like to welcome all our new and returning members! The web site will continue to be updated under our calendar section and news. Our Travel Seasons Begins 9/10, Our Pre Travel and Interleague 9/17 and our Intramural Season opens on Sunday 9/25. Intramural includes our Little Falcon's U4 Coed, Flyweight U5 Coed, Peewee U6 Coed and Bantam U7\U8 age groups. Please clear any outstanding balances prior to 9/15/11 to help ensure uniform delivery for players. Please refer to the Zero Tolerance policy as provided by LIJSL in our news section. Information on what equipment is required for your children can be located under our FAQ section of our website.

Some Important Dates to look out for:

9/9/11 Coaches Email with Detailed information with respects to the 2010/2011 Season. If you volunteered thank you, if you thought you did we can only go by those who actually register in our system. We have also sent out emails over the last several weeks looking for additional help especially in our younger U4-U6 age groups. Our personal schedules should never be so busy that we are unable to give back to the children of the community. With that in mind, Coaches will be looking for assistants for the season. It is the policy of the DPSC that each Coach has a registered assistant coach with the league. Each team therefore should have a minimum of one coach and one assistant coach.

9/10/11 Coaches Team Rosters go "Live" (Pending any open Coaching Position filled) Coaches Should contact players by the Weekend. Player accounts will show what team you are on, Coaches accounts will show team Rosters.

9/12/11 - 9/24/11 Coaches should contact players and schedule Practice to meet Players & Parents. Teams with only one coach will be required to have an additional assistant. The assistant must register with the club in order for that team to participate in games or practices and receive uniforms.

Week of 9/19-9/23 Coastal training will begin for U6 - U8 age groups. U9 Pre Travel training with Coastal will begin the week of 9/12-9/16.

 Mandatory Coaches meeting @ (Homer Ave Community) Location web site. This meeting is for Coaches and Assistant Coaches only. Tentative Dates 9/15 or 9/20

9/15/11 Team Game Schedules Available on Web Site for Intramural. Pre Travel & Interleague will be forwarded by Coaches once finalized with SSI. Travel schedules available under LIJSL web site and Coaches.

9/17/11 Opening Day DPSC Pre Travel U9, & Interleague U10 and Older

9/25/11 Opening Day DPSC Intramural Little Falcon's U4 Coed, Flyweight U5 Coed, Peewee U6 Coed and Bantam U7\U8 age groups

Skills Training provided by Coastal for ALL U6,U7,U8, U9 Boys and Girls times and location on web site. Cost is Ten dollars per player for the Fall Season and includes a Coastal Training Shirt and Ball. A completed registration form will be required and provided by your coach prior to participating. All forms must be return whether participating or not to your coach ASAP.

As a reminder no refunds as of the late registration period of 7/1 and the DPSC does not honor accommodations of players request. The DPSC will place Coach and assistant Coaches together when requested.
